Oil Spill Contingency Plan

Kingfisher field development area is spread over approximately 344km2 in the Lake Albert Rift Basin in western Uganda. The oil field is situated on the eastern bank of Lake Albert, which acts as a border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Kingfisher Feeder Line Rerouting Study (KDF)
The KFDF is situated in Buhuka Parish, within Hoima District, covering an area of 3,612km². Its feeder pipeline traverses Kyangwali, Kabwoya, and Buseruka subcounties in the same district. Buhuka Flats currently host five villages, while there are 30 villages along the feeder pipeline corridor.
