Description of Actual Services Provided by ICS
- Provision of the required pre-construction services aimed at ensuring a smooth project start.
- Establishment and application of effective start-up procedures and quality control of all aspects of construction
- Review of the contractor’s proposed methodology and reinstating survey controls.
- Review of the detailed design for the road projects in the individual municipalities.
- Supervise of all construction works as the engineer under MDB harmonised FIDIC conditions of contract including the defects liability period.
- Ensure timely completion and conformity to desired standards and budget.
- Facilitation of implementation of environmental management plan (EMP), environmental monitoring Plan (EMoP) and resettlement Action Plan.
- Technology transfer to strengthen the capacity of the Kitgum Municipality in terms of civil engineering knowledge, construction project management, operation and maintenance works.
- Issuing of appropriate site instructions, variation orders, provisional sum orders and dayworks orders and reporting
