EACOP: Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM)

Project Background

EACOP is a 1,443km crude oil export pipeline that will transport Uganda’s crude oil from Kibaale – Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani peninsula near Tanga port in Tanzania.

This project is overseen by a special purpose vehicle comprising the Government of Uganda represented by the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), the Government of Tanzania represented by the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC), and the Upstream Partners.

The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) activities for the EACOP project are being conducted by Worley, in collaboration with its local patners ICS in Uganda.

Services Provided

The EPCM involves preparing project execution documents, stakeholder engagements, topographic and geotechnical surveys, road conditional and hydrological assessments, detailed engineering designs, and preparation of engineering drawings, MTOs, reports, etc.
