Description of Actual Services Provided by ICS
- Reviewing each Municipality‘s priority list of selected sub-projects to ensure rationality based on cost-benefit assessment, location (priority given to CBD and interconnectivity to USMID Phase 1 sub-projects and other national infrastructure), convenience (consideration to have limited displacement of people), environmental and social aspects (capacity to manage the environment and social risks and impacts), proof of land ownership that is free of any encumbrances, strategic factors and national prestige, alignment with policy goals and objectives and income distribution considerations,
- Preparing the necessary conceptual designs for suitable model layout of the infrastructure sub-projects consistent with best practice,
- Assessing the requirements of stakeholders and end users for facilities needed in the infrastructure sub-project.
- Preparing detailed designs (Architectural and Engineering), tender documents and offering assistance to MLHUD& Municipalities during the tender process for sub-projects to be implemented,
- Assisting the Municipal Councils to prioritize, package and schedule the infrastructure projects to be design based on projected Municipal annual funds allocation, economic benefit and location, and
- Tender Assistance.
