Feasibility Study and Detailed Engineering Design of 6 Selected National Roads, LOT 3: – Gulu-Opit- Rackoko Road (91km)

Carry out a feasibility study of upgrading the selected route, including consideration of alternative routes and pavement options, road safety, preliminary design, implementation plan or schedule, and economic and financial analysis. Prepare a detailed engineering design for the selected route option, including all data collection, field surveys, and analysis to cover all aspects of the detailed design.

Kampala Flyover Project, Uganda

In order to mitigate traffic congestion within the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area (GKMA) many projects and studies have been carried out. Among them, JICA conducted the Preparatory Survey on the Greater Kampala Roads Improvement Project in 2013 and 2014.

The key activities involve preparing and reviewing compensation agreements, training negotiation teams, and facilitating agreement meetings with stakeholders. It includes identifying temporary accommodation for displaced households, conducting surveys for replacement land, and developing detailed housing designs.

Survey Works Tilenga Project – Upstream Facilities

The scope of work involves; conducting topographical surveys and providing detailed measurements of structures and topography, including buildings, roads, and natural features. They will also mark out equipment, perform initial surveys, and conduct spot checks. Preliminary data will be provided during the survey, with a full report submitted.
